Nine Pics, Seven Contributors

As the title suggests, this post 11th February 2012, comprises nine pics of mixed subject matter forwarded by seven different contributors.

First up today is Geoff Monks' shot of EWS (DBS) class 92, 92019, on a Mossend - Bescot - Hams Hall working. The container flats, with some containers on board, were being hauled through Winwick on 13th January 2012.

The second pic is from Matthew Chambers, another of his fine night shots. It features EWS class 60, 60096, waiting for a crew change at Warrington Bank Quay on 21st December 2009. The working was coal.

Next, number three, is David Woods' pic showing Freightliner class 66, 66560. It was heading a coal working on the Fiddlers Ferry line on 14th December 2011.

The fourth and final pic in this Winwick area section is from Jeff Nicholls.  Preserved class 86, 86259 Les Ross, is pictured on the 'Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express' passing southbound, through Winwick, on 4th February 2012. The railtour was Euston- Carlisle via the S&C with the return down the WCML via Shap. Stanier 'Black 5', No.45305, took over the train at Preston.
