WINWICK & BEYOND
First up in this post is Alan Rigby with 8 shots. His first was taken at Brundall Station and features DRS class 68, 68004 Rapid with a service from Norwich; the destination was Lowestoft. The pic is dated 28th October 2016.
Norfolk's 18 miles long, 15 inch gauge Bure Valley Railway, was the location for Alan's next pic. Pictured is 2-6-2 No.7 Spitfire leaving Wroxham for Aylsham, on 29th October 2016.
This next shot shows BR class '9F' 2-10-0, No.92203 Black Prince, waiting at Sheringham for Holt on the North Norfolk Railway. The pic is dated 29th October 2016.
Pic four from Alan shows Freightliner class 47, 47830 BEECHING'S LEGACY on a route learner at Golborne Junction. The route was Crewe - Bamfurlong Junction via Manchester; the date was 1st November 2016.
Next is Freightliner class 66, 66512 taken at Acton Bridge on 7th November 2016. The working was an empty 'binliner', running Runcorn Folly Lane - Brindle Heath.
Alan's sixth and seventh shots were also taken at Acton Bridge on the same date. Freightliner class 86, 86622, is pictured here with a Garston - Crewe Basford Hall working.
GBRf class 66, 66701 is shown with a LBT- Drax PS loaded biomass working - same date and location.
This eighth shot from Alan was taken at St Helens Junction on 9th November 2016. GBRf class 66, 66742 ABP Port of Immingham Centenary 1912-2012, is pictured with a Drax PS - LBT empty biomass working.
Next are two shots from Geoff Monks. This first one (number nine overall) was taken at Acton Bridge on 5th November 2016. Double heading DRS class 37s, 37603 and 37602 are pictured on a Sellafield - Crewe spent nuclear fuel flasks working.
Also taken at the same location on the same date, was GBRf class 92, 92032 IMechE Railway Division, on a Garston - Crewe car transporter working.
David Quayle is up next with six pics, taken at the Severn Valley Railway. The first one features Hudswell Clarke, ex GWR 0-6-0 saddle tank loco, (earlier - Port Talbot & Docks Railway), No.813 at Bewdley on 4th November 2016; in a superb Autumnal setting. Ex GWR small prairie tank 2-6-2, No. 4566 is just visible behind.

Taken at Highley on 4th November 2016 was the ex LMS 2-6-0 class 5MT 'crab' locomotive, No. 13065 (42765) on a passenger service.
In this shot, number six from David, ex GWR "Manor" class 4-6-0 No.7812 Erlestoke Manor, is clearly visible between two other locos at Bewdley, on the same date. To the right is small prairie tank No.4566 (details above), and to the left is ex GWR 0-4-2 tank loco, No.1450.
