ELR Re-visited

In this post, 25th January 2014, I am using eleven pics from four contributors. Three contributors have sent in pics of the recent ELR Gala  resulting in seven shots from this gathering of steam fanatics being shown in the Alternatives section.

WINWICK

First up are three pics from Jeff Nicholls. WCRC Class 47, 47580 County of Essex is pictured on the rear of a Carnforth - Tyseley empty stock working through Winwick on 15th January 2014. On the front was WCRC class 47, 47786 Roy Castle O.B.E.

Pic number two shows GBRf class 66, 66716 Locomotive & Carriage Institution Centenary 1911-2011, on an Ironbridge - LBT biomass empties working. The location, among the trees, was Winwick and the date, 22nd January 2014.

The fourth and final pic is from Bob McClellan. The location was Earlestown, the working was biomass empties and the loco was Beacon Rail liveried, now (GBRf) class 66, 66751. The pic is dated 23rd January 2014.
