A Score of Pics

This is the largest post I have put together since we began this blog in January 2010. Today, 23rd October 2012, I am using twenty ( a 'score') pics from nine contributors. Some of the latter have sent in many pics, mainly from recent Galas, so they are well represented. Because of the huge number of pics the text will be kept to a minimum. If more info is required about any loco pictured, please use the search bar at the top of the blog for previous picture legends.

Many thanks to those who have sent in pre-2000 pics for our 'retro' features - there will be more totally 'retro' posts as soon as I have suitable gaps between normal posts.

Just eight days left to vote in the 'Pic of the Month', September 2012 competition. The voting system is simple - just send me the yellow September code numbers of the three pics you have chosen as 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each section, Winwick and Alternatives (UK and World combined). All September dated pics posted between September 4th and October 4th are eligible and have code numbers. My email address is at the top of the blog. Everyone reading this post is eligible to vote, contributor or not. The voting is slow at the moment so please vote, if you haven't already done so.
