Today's post, 19th April 2012, is another 'monster' with a record fourteen shots on view covering steam, electrics and diesels. This reflects the huge number of pics in the 'bank' at the moment.
WINWICK
Pic number one is from Matthew Chambers. Depicted are class 43s, 43467 and 43484, in Grand Central livery at Bank Quay on 3rd April 2012.

The second pic, from Bob McClellan, shows DBS red liveried class 66, 66097, on a FFPS-Newbiggin gypsum working on its way to Walton to 'run round'. Bob's pic is dated 11th April 2012.

John Smith has sent in pic number three showing Colas liveried class 66, 66850, on the logs working at Warrington Road, Golborne on 26th March 2012.
Shot number four of BR 'Standard' class '7', No.70013 Oliver Cromwell with support coach, is from Ken Young. The location was the Winwick Quay Postal Depot and the date, 1st March 2012.
Preserved class 86, 86259 Les Ross, is shown next travelling north, light engine, in David Woods' pic taken at Winwick on 16th April 2012.

ALTERNATIVE UK PICS
First up, pic number seven overall, is this shot from Colin Platt. Taken at the recent Severn Valley Railway Gala, ex GWR 'Manor' class 4-6-0, No.7812 Erlestoke Manor, is pictured approaching Highley (from Kidderminster) on 24th March 2012.
The next three shots have been sent in by new contributor David Hennessey; you are very welcome David. They are of the same 'special' working taken at Runcorn Station on 14th April 2012. The working was a London - Runcorn VSOE Pullman Excursion for passengers destined to attend the Grand National at Aintree. Pic number eight shows the lead loco, DBS 'Royal Purple' liveried class 67, 67006 Royal Sovereign.

The next pic, number nine, shows the tail loco - the latest Royal loco liveried in silver with an elongated Union Flag and the Diamond Jubilee logo both emblazoned on the side. It was 67026, Diamond Jubilee.

David has also included a pic, number ten, of one of the elegant Pullman coaches included in the rake, named Zena.

Another BR 'Standard' class '7' is featured next, pic number eleven from Bob McClellan. The loco, No.70000 Britannia, is heading a railtour to Chester and is pictured at Hargrave. The pic is dated 14th April 2012.

Alan Rigby has supplied shot number twelve, taken at Stenson Junction's freight only line, on 18th January 2012. Freightliner 'PowerHaul' class 70, 70016, is shown with a Ratcliffe - Basford Hall working of coal empties.
A Freightliner class 90, 90041, is up next in a pic from John Smith. The location was Chorlton, the date was 14th April 2012 and the working was Felixstowe - Ditton containers.

The final shot, pic number fourteen, is from David Quayle. It is a 'retro' shot of a class 23, 'Baby Deltic' D5907, shown at Kings Cross on 8th July 1967.
