Today's post, 12th June 2013, comprises thirteen pics from seven contributors.
WINWICK
First up are a couple of pics from David Wood. Number one shows double heading DRS class 37s in charge of spent nuclear fuel flasks from Sellafield. The location was Winwick and the date, 5th June 2013. Only the first 37 was identified as 37605.

David's second shot features a convoy of four locos on the move from the ELR to the GCR - they were 37901 Mirrlees Pioneer, 33109 Captain Bill Smith RNR, 50015 Monarch and 31190. The location and date were as above.

Jeff Nicholls has sent in the following two pics. The first, pic number three overall, features EWS (DBS) class 92, 92011 Handel heading DIT (dead in tow) EWS (DBS) class 66, 66110. The working was china clay, the location was Winwick and the date was 5th June 2013.

Pic number four, of Stanier 'Black Five' 4-6-0, No.44932 and also from Jeff , was taken at Winwick on 12th June 2013. The working was Carnforth - Southall empty stock.

The fifth pic was sent in by Geoff Monks. The post of 12th January 2013 described my intention to extend our Winwick patch to include the L&M line up to Rainhill. This shot, of the blue 'tug', 60074 Teenage Spirit, was taken at Rainhill on 7th June 2013. The working was LBT-FFPS coal.

Pic number six is from Ieuan Wood. Ieuan travelled to York on 8th June 2013 to shoot Stanier 'Pacific' No.46233, Duchess of Sutherland, in Brunswick Green livery.

Matthew Chambers has sent in pics seven and eight. Two freshly painted DBS locos are pictured in the first (number seven) class 66, 66118 and class 90, 90029 at Crewe on 8th June 2013.

Matthew's next, pic number eight, features topping and tailing DRS class 20s, 20305 and 20309 with a Sellafield - Crewe working. The location was Wigan North Western and a Northern class 150, 150203, can be seen in the background. The pic is date 4th June 2013.

Bob McClellan has sent in the next two pics. The Welshpool & Llanfair Railway is featured in this pic, number nine, with loco No.764-425 to the fore. Bob's pic is dated 4th May 2013.
Bob's next pic, number ten, shows loco No.7 of the Corris Railway, taken at Corris on 6th May 2013.
Geoff Monks pic, number eleven, shows off the magnificent Saddleworth Viaduct to great effect. The loco in the pic is Freightliner class 66, 66550, with a Roxby - Brindle Heath working of empty 'binliners'. The pic is dated 6th June 2013.

David Quayle has sent in pic number twelve taken at Pickering on the NYMR on 15th May 2013. Featured is ex BR 'Standard' class 4, 4-6-0, No.75029 The Green Knight .
The final pic, number thirteen, is another of the blue 'tug', 60074 Teenage Spirit. The shot is from David Wood and it was taken at Whiston on 7th June 2013. The working was LBT-FFPS coal.
