Our first pic is from Jeff Nicholls. 'The North Wales Coast Express' passed the Leigh Golf Club at Culcheth on 22nd July 2012 with class 47, 47270 Swift, on the tail.The train is shrouded in exhaust fom the 'A4' at the head (see next pic).

Jeff's second pic shows the same railtour taken from the front with Gresley 'A4' 4-6-2, No.60009 Union of South Africa, at the head. The location was Chat Moss and the date, as above.

Pic number four is from Matthew Chambers. Colas class 47, 47739 Robin of Templecombe, is pictured at Wigan NW with two translator coaches sandwiching a DIT class 507 unit. The pic is dated 16th May 2012.
The fifth pic in this Winwick area section has been sent in by Geoff Monks. Freightliner class 90, 90048, is depicted northbound, at Winwick, with the 'Pretendolino'. The working was an empty stock move from Wembley to Preston in order to work a Preston - Euston service the same evening. The pic is dated 22nd July 2012.

David Quayle has provided the first two pics in this section from his visits to Heritage Railways throughout the country. First up, pic number six, shows the ex GWR 2-8-0 No.3850 and the ex Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway class '7F' 2-8-0, No.88 on the West Somerset Railway at Minehead. The pic is dated 14th June 2012.
David's second shot, pic number seven, is from the same location but on 11th June 2011. Pictured is ex GWR Manor class 4-6-0 No.7828 Norton Manor (previously named Odney Manor) awaiting maintenance.
Pic number eight is from Alan Rigby and again features John Cameron's 'A4' which he has owned since 1966. No.60009 Union of South Africa is pictured leaving Hellifield heading for Carnforth on 18th July 2012.

Our ninth pic has been provided by Bob McClellan. Colas class 66, 66848, is shown on the Carlisle - Chirk logs working on 18th July 2012. The location was Helwith Bridge on the S&C.

The tenth and final pic in this post is from John Smith. The Bala Lake Railway in North Wales was the location for John's shot of 0-4-0ST Maid Marion, dated 30th June 2012.
