More From Winwick and Beyond

The current trend of alternative pics outnumbering Winwick area pics continues today, 6th July 2012, no doubt influenced by the local, heavy rains of late. We feature another baker's dozen shots today from just five contributors.

WINWICK

First up are two older shots from Matthew Chambers.  DBS TATA steel liveried class 60, 60099, is shown in pic number one. The location was the low level line at Slutchers Lane/Bank Quay and the date, 3rd April 2012. The working was coal.

Matthew's second shot was also taken on the low level line but much earlier, 5th January 2012. The working was gypsum and the loco was EWS (DBS) class 66, 66198.

Pic number three is from Colin Platt. Featured is WCRC class 47, 47760, travelling light engine through Red Bank, on 27th April 2012.

The fourth pic has been sent in by Jeff Nicholls. EWS (DBS) class 92, 92003 Beethoven, is pictured on the morning china clay tanks ('not so silver bullets') working through Bank Quay, on 30th May 2012.
